Why a conference on pheromones?

Pheromones are a very complex subject. Takayama Agency decided to organize an International Symposium on pheromones to discuss this particular topic which is considered as a taboo. In 1986, scientists have established for the first time that the human body produces pheromones, these special aromatic chemical compounds discharged by one individual that affect the sexual physiology of another. Although animals have long been known to secrete pheromones, which typically function as sex attractants, andalthough the existence of such chemicals in humans has long been speculated, they finally manage to prove their existence in human.
That’s why the scientific committee decided to organize the 1st symposium on Pheromones and its applications in human in Paris.
Different topics will be held:
- Pheromones and communication between human
- Odour: attraction and erotism
- Pheromones and human sexuality
- Pheromones and human behaviour
The aims of the International Symposium on Pheromones are to:
- Debate on a complex and relatively unknown subject
- Consider possible applications in human
- Discuss the scientific credibility and clinical studies
Call for abstracts: The scientific committee proposes you to expose your posters, articles and other related publications during the conference.
